Knowing how much a campaign raised is only one question. Who contributed, which committees transferred money, and who received payments? GovMoneyGraph’s connected federal campaign-finance records offer a way to explore those relationships using Federal Election Commission data.
Follow the record trail
The site supports searches across candidates, contributors, committees, companies, and vendors. Profiles connect receipts and spending, while source links and reported identifiers let readers examine the underlying filings. Derived classifications are distinguished from reported information.
Connections need context
A shared name is not enough to establish identity, and a financial connection alone does not demonstrate improper influence. Choose the relevant election cycle, inspect the transaction type, and trace significant findings back to the filing. Be careful when combining totals that may describe different stages of the same money flow. The project is most useful as a starting point for a documented question, rather than a shortcut to an accusation.
